The World Hydrogen Summit 2026 has kicked off! The first day was already full of energy and valuable conversations.

Yesterday, we started with the Energy Executive Dinner at the Fenix Museum, where our directorLijs Groenendaal and chairman Marcel Galjee were present.

Today began with an 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, organized by Hydrogen Europe and NLHydrogen. National associations from around the world came together to exchange insights on the hydrogen sector and our shared role in it.

We quickly agreed: 𝘸𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺, and the next two years are extremely important for building a resilient and independent energy system. The urgency to scale up the hydrogen value chain is widely recognized.

NLHydrogen also 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗨 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨.𝗦. 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, an important step for international hydrogen value chains. As our director Lijs Groenendaal emphasized:
“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘶𝘭𝘧 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.”

The MoU was signed together with Nico Van Dooren (Port of Rotterdam) and Brett Perlman (Gulf Energy Catalyst).

Day 1 is done. On to two more days full of conversations about our favorite topic: 𝘩𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘯! Feel free to come and talk to us.
